First, from The Other McCain, via other blogs and news sites. Here's the vid of Cain at the Americans for Prosperity Presidential Forum today in New Hampshire:
Next, superstar Tea Party Congressman Allen West (R-FL) actually got an article in the NY Times. (h/t Kevin Jackson at the Black Sphere). Only problem, in my opinion, is it's not the most flattering piece. For one thing, why the heck do they put the "conservative" label right in the headline? For a paper that was obsessed over Obama's race from the second he took the spotlight in 2004, it's West's race that should be in the headline. (If they're to be consistent, I'm saying.)
Secondly, what's up with this "hard right" stuff in the body? This is more label bias garbage. Sure, liberal RINO's like John McLame, Lindsey Graham-nesty and Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dumber from Maine are the only acceptable "moderates" for these leftist elitists. Anyone else is "hard right" or "far right."
Take a look in the mirror, Slimes writers. It is you that are on the hard fringes, not the Allen Wests, not the Sarah Palins, not the Rush Limbaughs!
I hope one or both of these successful black conservative men run for office. I firmly believe either one of them would kick President Golden Calf's rear back to Chicago.

Paul Mitchell at RedState recaps the Wonkette "Trig is retarded" smear and leftist thinking:
Make no mistake. The left hates Trig Palin:
Now Wonkette is at it again, in an even more crude manner, this time authored by 2010 Georgetown grad Jack Stuef, Greatest Living American: A Children’s Treasury of Trig Crap On His Birthday.
Replete with PhotoShops of Trig next to a pulsating pole dancer (image right), and links to videos in which various Democrats mock Trig in profanity-laced tirades, Stuef has a good laugh with text such as this:
Today is the day we come together to celebrate the snowbilly grifter’s magical journey from Texas to Alaska to deliver to the America the great gentleman scholar Trig Palin. Is Palin his true mother? Or was Bristol? (And why is it that nobody questions who the father is? Because, either way, Todd definitely did it.) It doesn’t matter. What matters is that we are privileged to live in a time when we can witness the greatest prop in world political history…
What’s he dreaming about? Nothing. He’s retarded. ...
Outrageous. Some some folks complained to the advertisers on that site, and three of them pulled their ads. Papa John’s, Huggies and Vanguard. The editors at Wonkette defend the post:
“We beat up on Sarah Palin’s craven use of her son as a political prop. Child protective services should take Trig away.”
“On whose account are you requesting that Jack Stuef remove a post mocking Sarah Palin’s well-documented use of her special needs child as a political prop?…”
It’s easy to see that the left hates Sarah Palin with the hot, hot fire of a thousand suns. And the real reason for this hatred is Trig. They hate Trig with every fiber of their being. They hate him with a passion beyond description. Murder would not satisfy their hatred of Trig, because they hate most of all the fact that this baby was ever born.
If Sarah Palin had aborted Trig, she would be a hero to the left. But she kept him, she loves him, Down Syndrome and all. And they hate that.
The abortion ethic holds that only the perfect baby is worthy to be born. The abortion ethic holds that only the wealthy baby is worthy to be born. Trig stands as a living rebuke to the pro-aborts, who, in him, are revealed not to be pro-choice at all, but only pro-abortion. Trig Palin, by simply living, is a testament to the dignity and sanctity of all human life. The pro-abort left cannot abide, and cannot tolerate, his witness.
And so they make up lies and excuses for their hatred about Sarah Palin’s “exploitation” of her son. Of course, if Trig was never seen in her materials and appearances, they would claim that she was ashamed of him, that she was hiding him. It’s not that they see Trig that enrages them; it is that Trig lives at all. Modern liberalism is a philosophy of hatred, of jealousy, of death. The left’s reaction to Trig Palin is the logical expression of that philosophy.

Wow. James Lewis at American Thinker issues a provocative analysis of our current president.
Obama really belongs in the post-colonial socialist world, like his father, who also never understood that the land he visited so briefly to father a child, Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., represented the biggest revolution in political history. Barack Sr. flew back to Kenya to join Jomo Kenyatta in just another disastrous post-colonial tyranny, one that may have ended in his own death from alcoholism, despair, and two disastrous automobile crashes. Barack Sr. may have dimly apprehended that things were terribly wrong in Kenyatta's post-colonial paradise, as indeed they were. India and China also suffered terribly under post-colonial socialism. They only began to recover when they found a way to give their own talented peoples a modicum of freedom to become productive. They re-discovered their own abilities to thrive without bureaucratic tyranny. Obama Jr. has never figured that out.
The US Constitution is the revolution; the rebellions of the left are just reactionary throwbacks. Whether the liberals like it or not, it's the American Revolution that is radically new, a genuine step toward a different way of living and governing.

Yes, you read that right: Eco-Hitler Youth. What else do you call 10,000 teenagers brought to D.C. rallying in the streets donning green helmets, gas masks, and ... what is that at 0:50? underwear? bathing suits? spandex?
What else do you call youths who make statements like these:
"[W]hat we need is a complete revolution -- social, economic, political, cultural ... The change becomes we force it. And I don't think that's about going to lobby politicians, to be honest. It's about blockading en masse."
"It's a revolution. It's a climate justice revolution."
"This is our revolution that we have take hold of."
And just who brought these mind-numbed robots to D.C. for this gathering? Why, members of our liberal America- and capitalism-hating leadership, of course. These instigators include the Obama White House via the EPA, former VP and world's first enviro-billionaire Al Gore, former disgraced whatever czar and avowed Marxist Van Jones, and sitting Congressperson and former House freaking Speaker. See:
"You need to know: the EPA is counting on Power Shift." -- EPA Speaker
"Hello, Power Shift, and thank you! ... Thank you for your leadership. I hope to see you again on Capitol Hill." -- Congresswoman and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, addressing the attendees of Power Shift on an enormous screen, eerily similar to Big Brother in 1984.
People, can you wake up, please?
Think about it: power shift = revolution. (It's slightly clearer than the faux cross hairs on Sarah Palin's obscure election map that supposedly caused a deranged stalker who most likely never even heard Palin to shoot at a Democrat Congresswoman in Tucson.)
Here's a three minute video [h/t Breitbart] of these young skulls full of mush displaying a level of stunning ignorance and dangerous stupidity that only decades of liberal "education" could produce:
This is truly the most frightening display of indoctrination of the stupid and easily malleable by dangerous radicals since the Hitler youth and Soviet pioneers. Hell, these teenagers are being encouraged to become this era's Hitler youth and Soviet pioneers. (But remember, it's the Tea Party that's "extremist", it's conservative Republicans that are "radical," it's the likes of Beck and Palin and Limbaugh that are poisining the public discourse. Riiiight.)
Oh, sorry, too vitrolic and mean-spirited? Tough! Get your head out your freaking tuchas and pay attention to what's going on for once.

Here's a sympathetic shout out to my Christian readers. NewsBusters reports on the mainstream DBF* media's 2010 coverage of the two holidays which occur this week: Easter and Earth Day. The former is 2000 years old and is the most important holiday for Christians. The latter is only 41 years old and was created by radical Lenin-worshiping socialists who have amassed power, fame, and wealth perpetuating the myth that capitalism and the United States are the biggest threats to the survival of the planet.
According to NB contributor Erin Brown, in 2010:
Media Undermine Christian Holiday: Nearly two thirds of all stories about Easter were negative (22 out of 34).
Easter Used to Attack Catholic Church: Ninety-one percent of the negative Easter stories were about the pedophilia scandal in the Roman Catholic Church.
Love That Mother Nature: 100 percent of Earth Day stories were positive.
Consider these glowing teases or stories about the left's favorite holiday:
"[T]his is Earth Day, the 40th anniversary, in fact, of what's considered the birth of the modern environmental movement. ... On this Earth Day there was this item in the news today, a way to remind us all to take a fresh look at something we look down and see just about every day: cigarette butts. Not only are they the most common form of litter, they are filled with toxins, every one of them that can leach out into the environment and make their way into drinking water supplies and pets, among other things." -- Brian Williams, NBC "Nightly News"
"Today, Earth Day turned 40, and a new CBS News poll shows that many Americans have big concerns about the future of our planet. Nearly half expect the environment to be in worse shape for the next generation." -- Maggie Rodriguez, CBS "Evening News"
Awwww. Sing it, everyone, "Kum-ba-yah my Gaia. Kum-ba-yah ..."
Contrast those with:
"On this Easter Sunday, an unusual statement from a Vatican official in defense of the pope, Pope Benedict XVI who has been accused of not doing enough to address charges of sexual abuse in the church." -- Russ Mitchell, CBS "Evening News"
Unbelievable. What's next, something like, "On this first night of Passover, Israeli PM Benyamin Netanyahu has been accused of not doing enough to address the senseless killings of Palestinian children"? Maybe.
This one takes the cake:
"Coming up next, the apocalyptic Christian militia jailed for plotting war against the government." -- Dan Harris, ABC "World News Sunday"
Huh? We have millions upon millions of radical Muslims hell-bent on eradicating Western civilization and imposing Sharia law worldwide (which of course the DBF media has been ignoring or dismissing for years) and ABC News does a story on some obscure Christian militia?
Lots more where that came from.

On Monday (tax day!) Rush spent a good portion of the show talking about Obama's economically-illiterate and ideology-driven "tax the rich" speech as well as the DBF* media's equally illiterate and ideological tax day coverage, such as that from dinosaur left-wing propagandists Bob Schieffer and Christiane Amanpour
Rush then lays out the facts about the distribution of income tax payment in the United States. Most important is his conclusion: The reason Obama and the hard left that have taken over the Democrat Party are so hell-bent on raising taxes on "the rich" is not to balance the budget, not to reduce the deficit, and not to make sure children don't starve and seniors don't die (at the hands of those eeeevil Republicans). It is only to redistribute wealth and to buy votes with other people's money.
Don't believe him? The following 30+ minutes are a must-listen for everyone left, right, and center who needs to understand the truth.
For convenience, here are the articles Rush cites:
AP: Nearly Half of US Households Escape Fed Income Tax - Stephen Ohlemacher (April 7, 2010)
But then ...
AP via ABC News: Super Rich See Federal Taxes Drop Dramatically - Stephen Ohlemacher (April 17, 2011)
and (same article, different title!):
AP via Washington Post: For Richest, Federal Taxes Have Gone Down; For Some in U.S., They're Nonexistent
Wall Street Journal: Their Fair Share (July 21, 2008)

Caption this!
This picture, by the way, accompanies a NY Daily News story that the Rev. Sharpton is joining President Hope&Change's immigration reform effort.
Why? Isn't the good Rev. a native born American? And isn't President Hope&Change also (wink wink)?
So why is Sharpton getting on board with such a committee, when he has no business being anywhere near the White House? Because this is a scheme to use racial and ethnic politics to impose amnesty to the millions of illegal aliens that Obama is going to need to get to the polls and illegally vote for him in 2012.
Would you expect anything else from our "post-racial" president?
There is only one thing wrong with the immigration system right now: Opportunistic Democrats (and RINO Republicans) are abusing/ignoring it in order to grab more power for themselves.
Period.

Yup. From C. Scott Litch from The Daily Caller:
First of all, you should feel great shame about your success. Did you really think I was going to pat you on the back and say, “Way to go, you’ve made the entire country better off with your hard work, investments, and charitable giving”? You are not going to hear such nonsense on my watch! Other than the spending a few of you have made on behalf of my re-election campaign, most of your spending is worthless. America is at a crossroads as we the debate the future of entitlement spending and the appropriate level of taxation. I will not let us retreat and turn back the clock. We must win the future.
What does that mean? Mainly, it means that the money you have isn’t yours. Perhaps you have been laboring under the delusion that your salary and other earnings belong to you and your family. Whoever gave you this idea is obviously a selfish, narrow-minded, right-wing capitalist clinging to his guns and religion. You must abandon such deluded thinking. Any amount from your income that isn’t paid back in taxes is merely what the government decides to give you. It’s not yours and it was never yours. I hope I’ve left no doubt on this point. ...

What lowlives. How do you who consider yourself a liberal/Democrat look yourself in the mirror when this is what your brethren do openly and proudly?
Yesterday I linked to a video of liberals/Democrats counterprotesting a Tea Party in Olympia, Washington. They were making obscene comment after obscene comment, including fantasizing about wiping their a** with the American flag. (But don't you dare question their patriotism!)
But there was more "civility" as only the liberals can display elsewhere in the country. In Madison, Wisconsin, where the amazing and courageous Sarah Palin delivered a dynamite, hard-hitting speech, counterprotesters booed during the singing of the Star-Spangled Banner:
Then, while a pretty brave 14-year-old girl spoke at the podium, the oh-so tolerant and civil protesters booed her, and one guy called her a f**king brat and others yelled "Koch suckers":
Thank goodness for all the video cameras and cell phones. Otherwise most of this garbage wouldn't even see the light of day, right?
The unshakable Andrew Breitbart didn't overlook the irony of being in Madison, the center of left-wing violence and extremism back in February, and told his heckling detractors in attendance to "go to hell":
But wait, there's more. The lib/Dem contigent who converged upon a Portland, Oregon Tea Party, were evidently so threatened about a black American who had the nerve to leave the Democrat platation, that they hurled racial epithets at him while he spoke at the podium, including "token black guy," "Uncle Tom," and "house n*gga":
So cut the crap about this era of New Civility, liberals/Democrat. You are full of it, and always were.
And the issue isn't even that these lib/Dem lowlives never got that memo on civility back in January when Sarah Palin and eeeevil conservative radio was despicably blamed for "inciting violence" in Tucson, Arizona. It's that the call for "civility" by President Hope&Change and other prominent figures were hollow and insincere to begin with. Liberals/Democrats have acted inexcusably uncivil, intolerant, and violent toward conservatives before the terrible shooting in Tucson, and they continued to be so after. The calls for civility had one purpose and one purpose only: To try to shut conservatives up, to try to stifle their free speech by public assembly and on the airwaves. It was a free speech power grab, pure and simple.
No proclaimers of the New Civility nor their audience had the slightest intention to be any less intolerant or violent than they have been. We saw it when union thugs trashed Madison, Wisconsin; we saw it when leftist loudmouths like Bill Maher hurled not one, not two, but three misogynist epithets at Sarah Palin; and we saw it when opportunistic Democrat demagogues like Reid, Schumer, Wasserman Schultz, Slaughter, Sharpton, and Jackson libeled Republicans who had to audacity to try to rein in out-of-control government spending.
Stay classy, liberals/Democrats.
Oh yeah, and to the DBF* media: Nice work on that crack reporting on all this left-wing violence and extremism. NOT.

Peter Heck at American Thinker notices the mainstream media has focused on everything under the sun this past week -- except a certain war President Hope&Change started in Libya.
I'm hoping someone can help me. I left on vacation last week, and when I got back, an entire war was missing. I've looked for it on all the major networks and cable outlets (excepting Fox News), as well as all the major newspapers. Although I've found hints that it still exists somewhere, President Obama's Libyan War is officially missing in action. ...
In Iraq they trumpeted every death, every setback, every struggle as part of their ongoing effort to defeat President Bush. But now, confronted with the perfect example of American presidential ineptitude, a flailing Commander-in-Chief leading a confused, bizarre military operation with no real purpose, they wag the dog.
And though flagrant media bias comes as no surprise, this sin of omission is particularly galling given the indignant drumbeat of negativity that defined their coverage of previous military conflicts. It is the clearest example yet of how desperate the leftist media is to get President Obama re-elected. ...

UPDATE: More lib/Dem "civility" here.
While those supposedly extreme (that's what Chuck Schumer's peeps told him to call them), violent, bigoted Tea Partiers rallied across the country this weekend, here's video footage of "peaceful" liberals counterprotesting in Olympia, Washington [h/t Breitbart via Gateway Pundit].
Warning: Major verbal and visual profanity.
Yup, liberal Democrats calling people they disagree with "f**king homos." Hmm, will the mainstream media even touch this one? (Cue the crickets chirping.)
Oh yeah: And don't you dare question their patriotism!

Contributor “dhorowitz3“ at Red State says:
Obama is forcing our troops to fight a politically correct war in Afghanistan; however, he is prosecuting his class warfare with no holds barred. Obama and the Democrats are the Navy SEALS of class warfare.
Nice line. Now comes the bad (for Obama) news:
Fortunately, his target audience, the poor, are not impressed with his ferocity. Obama’s support among the poorest Americans has dropped to an all time low, according to the latest Gallup poll. This, from CNS News:
Each week, Gallup publishes the president’s average approval rating for the previous week among four income brackets: those who earn $2,000 per month or less, those who earn between $2,000 and $4,999 per month, those who earn between $5,000 and $7,499 per month, and those who earn $7,500 per month or more.
For the week of April 4-10, Obama’s approval rating was 48 percent among those making $2,000 or less per month, and 46 percent among those in each of the three higher income brackets.
Mr. Tax-the-Rich is now under 50% support among all income brackets, garnering roughly the same level of support among low-income Americans as from the rich guys whom he detests. …
Here is the latest report from the Wisconsin Farm Bureau regarding inflation on some of the most basic needs in Wisconsin:
Apples increased 24 cents (18 percent) to $1.52 per pound.
- A gallon of whole milk increased 50 cents (17 percent) to $3.41 per gallon.
- One pound of bagged salad increased 33 cents (15 percent) to $2.48.
- A five-pound bag of flour increased 25 cents (12 percent) to $2.34.
- One pound of ground chuck climbed 32 cents (10 percent) to $3.41.
It’s important to note that Wisconsin’s “Marketbasket” inflation is actually lower than the national average. Even the government can no longer manipulate the CPI numbers to ensconce any trace of inflation. Look who’s forcing poor people to eat cat food now? ...
And let’s not even discuss gas prices around the nation (which a liberal friend told me this week cannot possibly be Obama’s doing, but the actions of a secret cabal of corporate colluders and greedy speculators).
This is the most important news unreported by the MSM. Let’s hope some Republicans with cajones get the message out some time soon.

From Frank Gutting at American Thinker:
President Obama advocating for higher taxes on the richest Americans is not just a political position that I strongly oppose; it is a moral and ideological difference that, at its core, speaks to what each of us value. Obama sees the confiscation and redistribution of wealth as an act of compassion. Conservatives, like myself, see taxation as a form of theft and enslavement. Where Obama views government assistance as an act of humanitarianism, Conservatives believe he is driving dependence. Where the left claims government programs have saved people from the depths of severe poverty, I see they have deprived individuals of desire and personal ambition. They enslaved the producer and taker in a life of dependence and servitude. Compassion comes from your heart, not another's wallet.

From Marsha Enright and Gen LaGreca at the Daily Caller.
The lines are drawn in the sand. Where do you stand? Will you mooch with the looters and give up everything — your work, your money, your liberty, your mind, your character, and your soul — for a few fleeting stolen goods and illegitimate advantages? Or will you join the producers, in a world of free minds, free markets, wealth, prosperity, protected private property, and liberty? See “Atlas Shrugged: Part I,” then read the book — and decide.

In the first hour of Wednesday's show Rush addressed the hysteria exhibited by the Dems with regard to GOP Congressman Paul Ryan's budget proposal. Rush played some old clips from the mid-90's of Congressional Democrats the last time such a proposal was offered and - lo and behold - it was all the same talking points: minorities are going to starve to death, children are going to starve to death, old people are going to starve to death, the rich are stealing from the poor, the Republicans are mean-spirited and heartless, etc., etc. It's actually quite amusing.
The second of these two clips in particular is instructive. Rush explains just why Democrats are hysterical about reducing the budget, namely, it decreases their power to enslave people.
Enjoy the next 22 minutes of pure genius.

What is it like to go about life thinking like a liberal/Democrat?
Last year Florida Pastor Terry Jones merely threatened to burn a Koran. The result? Days of murderous Muslim violence. This time, Jones actually burned a Koran. The result? Days of murderous Muslim violence.
But only to a liberal is it not remotely obvious that these days Muslims are always inflamed, as Aaron Goldstein at American Spectator correctly notes:
… So once again the Muslim world is inflamed. But then again when isn’t the Muslim world inflamed? Of course, most of us remember the late Ayatollah Khomeini’s fatwa against Salman Rushdie following the publication of The Satanic Verses. While Rushdie is still walking this earth more than two decades after the fatwa was issued, the same cannot be said of Hitoshi Igarashi. If his name isn’t familiar it ought to be. Igarashi was the man who translated The Satanic Verses into Japanese and because of it he was stabbed to death in July 1991. And in case you think the Muslim world has forgotten about Rushdie, there were renewed calls for his death in 2007 when it was announced he would be knighted by Queen Elizabeth II.
Remember when authorities in Sudan accused an English schoolteacher named Gillian Gibbons of blaspheming Islam because the children in her class named a teddy bear Mohammed? She was sent to jail and was due to receive forty lashes until international pressure was brought to bear against the Sudanese government, which released her from jail and deported her back to Britain.
Remember the Danish cartoon controversy? In January 2010, nearly four years after the cartoons of Mohammed were published in Jyllands-Posten, a Somali man broke into the home of Kurt Westergaard, the man who drew Mohammed, with the intent of killing him. Fortunately, Danish police were able to thwart the attack and Westergaard was unharmed.
Theo Van Gogh wasn’t so lucky. In November 2004, he was murdered in broad daylight in the streets of Amsterdam because of his documentary film Submission, which documented violence against women in the Muslim world. Remember what Van Gogh’s murderer,Mohammed Bouyeri, said to his mother in a Dutch courtroom? Bouyeri said to her face that he felt no sympathy for her because he deemed her a non-believer. Van Gogh collaborated on this project with former Dutch Member of Parliament Ayaan Hirsi Ali who to this very day is under 24 hour protection?
Speaking of violence against women in the Muslim world, it was in January of this year that a 14-year-old girl named Hena Akhter was executed in Bangladesh for having been raped. Yet in the eyes of Sharia law and the Muslim village council who upheld it she was nothing more than an adulterer who brought dishonor to both her family and to her village. …
To this list, Arnold Ahlert at JWR reminds us, we can add former Seattle Weekly cartoonist Molly Norris, who became the target of a death threat following her satiric “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” idea. Ms. Norris is currently in hiding in our own country because of Muslim death threats.
Despite all these facts, the liberati have all blamed Jones for this latest incitement of violence. Some are even intent on violating his First Amendment rights to stop him. On Sunday’s Face the Nation the loathsome Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) said:
Ten to 20 people have been killed. We’ll take a look at this of course. As to whether we need hearings or not, I don’t know.
Um, excuse me, Mr. Reid, but you might want to reread the First Amendment. It’s in the Constitution, that document which you swore to uphold a number of times already.
To make matters worse, RINO Lindsey Graham-nesty (R-SC) joined in the Jones-bashing:
I wish we could find a way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war.
Imagine if this was said when Bush was president! You could people like … well, Harry Reid, screaming that the Bush administration was trying to squelch people’s First Amendment rights!
Don’t get me wrong; I don’t approve of what Jones is doing. But I’ll be damned if I approved of opportunistic politicians (as well as the increasingly feckless Gen. David Patreaus) blame him for extremist Muslim violence and then try to infringe upon his Constitutional rights.
Secondly, I am sick and tired of animals known as “radical Muslims” being absolved for murderous violence while Christians and Jews (particularly in America) are being blamed for inciting violence halfway around the world. You see, both Richard Cohen of the NY Times and Joe Klein of Time Magazine argue that Jones’ burning of the Koran is the moral equivalent of the murder of innocent human beings! As Allen Estrin writes at Dennis Prager’s website, this is what passes as sophisticated liberal thought. (In fact, Prager talked about this yesterday on his show; I believe he said it will be the topic of his next article.)
OK, libs. Let’s apply your utterly convoluted logic to other situations:
When a deranged fundamentalist Christian murders an abortionist, then by twisted liberal logic, it is the act of abortion that is to blame for this completely understandable act of murder. But when such despicable acts occur (and believe me, a vast vast majority of pro-lifers disapprove of murdering abortionists), the Democrat-media complex chastises the murderer and even campaigns for bigger protection for abortionists!
In this country there are lots of things done that are offensive to Christians and/or Jews. Remember the taxpayer-funded work of “art” called “Piss Christ”? Or the one with elephant dung smeared all over a the Virgin Mary. When Christians merely complained—no one murdered anyone and no one set anything on fire or bombed any buildings, just complained—it was the “artists” with whom the liberati sided. Offended Christians were told to get over it, that this was a free country and that the religiously offensive pieces of art were protected under the First Amendment.
With Jews it’s kind of a PC-determined craps shoot. If some artist, celebrity, or college speaker offends the sensibilities of Jews (especially if it’s an anti-Israel message), then the liberal left will be among the first to support the rights (if not the actual sentiment) of the offending party. But if righty Glenn Beck says something that liberal Jews don’t like or Sarah Palin invokes—gasp!!!—“blood libel,” the liberati will be first in line to slap a gag order on them, citing First-Amendment-violating “hate crime” laws.
This curious double standard even applies to non-religious situations. When violence is committed upon the right (e.g., the recent violent protests in Madison, Wisconsin), the liberati will circle the wagons around the perpetrator and believe (either privately or publicly) that the victim deserved it. But when a liberal/Democrat merely faces opposition from the right—think Tea Party rallies—the reaction is completely the opposite: You think for one second that had there actually been Tea Party violence or racist attacks after the signing of the disastrous ObamaCare bill last March that the liberati would have blamed Obama, Reid, and Pelosi for inciting the violence? Hell, no.
So, why in the (very rare) instances of Christian violence do the liberati blame the perpetrators and excuse/support/protect the victims, but in the (very frequent) instances of Islamic violence do they excuse or support the perpetrators?
Why in the (very rare) instances of right-wing violence do liberati blame the perpetrators and excuse/support/protect the victims, but in the (very frequent) instances of left-wing violence do they blame the victims and excuse or support the perpetrators?
Because liberal logic is not based on principle, but on politically correct dogma and politically-motivated result. Only in the twisted liberal minds of Richard Cohen, Joe Klein, Harry Reid, and Lindsey the RINO is a Christian’s symbolic burning of a book responsible for or even equivalent to the wanton Muslim murder of innocent human beings. As long as Muslims are the liberal victim du jour, they will excuse every possible horrific act, from bombing to beheading to stoning to genital-mutilating to raping to burning and—for some college professors and even Obama’s longtime pastor and friend Jeremiah Wright—hijacking planes and flying them into buildings. Everything will be explained away as being our fault.
For this reason alone we must ensure that liberals of this mindset must be prevented from occupying the remotest posts of power.
