One of his best lines, which is wholly relevant today, is this statement on Elena Kagan and the Democrats:

The very fact that the United States of America is about to confer to the U.S. Supreme Court a woman who banned the military from her campus gives you an idea of how deep this problem is: That that is not disqualifying to Democrats is a moment of darkness in American history.

I shiver at the utter destruction this party has wrought.
