Late this morning Hawaii time, Rush gave a press conference recapping what happened to him over the past couple of days:
Not surprisingly (at least to me), Rush was appreciative of the health care system we currently have in this nation—although who knows for how much longer:
I feel very, very fortunate. I have been treated to the best health care the world has to offer, and that is right here in the United States of America.

The treatment I received here was the best that the world has to offer. Based on what happened to me here, I don't think there's one thing wrong with the American health care system. It is working just fine, just dandy. I got nothing special. I got no special treatment other (than anybody else that would have called 911) [the streaming video feed started to break up a little here]
God speed, Rush. Hope to hear you back on the air soon.
