But Don't Question Their Patriotism: Iraq War Protestors '08

Liberals keep saying that it's not unpatriotic to question the government. No conservative would disagree. They say it's not unpatriotic to question the war. Again, no conservative would disagree.

But as far as I know, no liberal has come forward to denounce the disgusting acts of "peace" rally participants, like those perpetrated this past week at the fifth anniversary of the War in Iraq.

Marooned in Marin has comments about one particular war protest in Portland, Oregon:

Last year, it was defecating on a burning American flag, burning an American solider in effigy and marching with a banner reading “F**k the Troops.”

Well, Portland Lefties who claim to “support the troops but not the war” marched with this sign, “Put the gun down or turn it around” (pulled off Indybay). 640_portlandmarch152008

Essentially, they're calling for soldiers to “frag” or kill their officers.

And these people claim to represent “peace?”

Apparently. Not only that, but they claim to be the real patriots in this country. What an upside-down world we live in.

Gateway Pundit also provides this beautiful sight:

In all seriousness, how do any of these animals think this behavior is helping their cause?
